WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO A CONSULTATION?
If you experience foot pain, then it would be important to assess the footwear that you most often use, so please bring your shoes and insoles if you use them. If you have access to a printer you could download/print/fill in the NEW PATIENT REGISTRATION FORM. By bringing a filled in form to the appointment you could save time filling it in here and benefit from having more time to treat your condition. But if you do not have access to a printer do not worry, you will be able to fill in the form here. If you take prescribed medication, you would need to bring a list of medication with you.
IS THERE PARKING NEAR YOU AND IS IT FAR TO WALK?
If you drive into the communal parking area, you could use either visitor parking bays or you could use the last two parking bays. You could also park in Whitley Road junction with Lancaster Gate.
WILL I BE ABLE TO ENTER USING A WHEELCHAIR?
Our treatment room is located on the ground floor and most wheelchairs will have no issues entering/exiting the premises. Some large mobility scooters may struggle though. Please get in touch and we will be able to advise further.
WHICH FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
We accept cash, VISA, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express, Samsung Pay, Google Pay, Apple Pay.
IS THERE SIGNAGE OUTSIDE?
As our treatment room is located in our house, we are not permitted to have signage. Whitley Road junction with Lancaster Gate is the closest location to our address. Once you managed to park your car, you would need to locate a blue door number 46 Lancaster Gate. Entrance to the communal parking area is located on Lancaster Gate. Please have a look at the provided video below that shows how to get to the parking area from the Morrisons roundabout.
MY FOOT CARE IS COVERED BY A MEDICAL INSURANCE POLICY, WILL YOU BE ABLE TO PROVIDE A RECEIPT?
We provide receipts in electronic form, but if you do not use the internet, then please advise us during your appointment and we will issue a receipt that will have the HCPC registration number on it.
I AM NOT ABLE TO GET TO YOU, DO YOU OFFER HOME VISITS?
Yes, we do. Home visits are carried out by Assistant of Podiatrist (Foot Health Practitioner) who will be able to perform a foot health checkup and report findings to the podiatrist, trim toenails, reduce thickness of hard to cut nails, treat hard skin/callus and corns, provide conservative treatment of ingrown toenails (if no infection is present at the time) and provide a relaxing foot massage.
HOW CAN I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT?
We have various options available. You could call or text us on 07850023168. Email appointment request to firstname.lastname@example.org or you could book your appointment ONLINE
I HAVE A VERRUCAE? WHICH TREATMENTS DO YOU OFFER?
At the moment we treat verrucas using Cryotherapy (cryogen freezing to around -59° Celcius), Silver Nitrate, Salicylic Acid. Unfortunately, as verrucae is a virus (human papilloma virus) there is no guaranteed cure, but some treatments can help to clear them. Further information on verrucas can be found HERE.
I AM NOT ABLE TO CUT MY TOENAILS, HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE FOR THIS SERVICE?
We have a ‘Cut, Clear & File’ service, which is specifically aimed at customers that aren’t able to trim their toenails and at £20.00 we believe it provides fantastic value for money! You would first need to have had a consultation with either a Podiatrist or Assistant of Podiatrist to be advised whether this service is applicable to your condition.
